When The-Dream filed for divorce from Christina Milian in February, it came as a surprise to his wife, who was nine days away from giving birth to the couple’s daughter. Now Milian is asking a judge to throw out the divorce papers. According to TMZ, the “Dip It Low” singer claims that the father of her child not only lied about the status of their relationship, but also cheated on her.

Despite The-Dream publicly announcing the end of their marriage, Milian insists it was quite the contrary and that the two even had “marital relations on numerous occasions” after the paperwork was filed. If the court does grant the divorce, Milian wants it to be for reasons other than that their marriage was “irretrievably broken,” instead claiming that The-Dream was cheating on her.

In her legal response, filed last week in Georgia, Milian admits that she signed an agreement with The-Dream that waived alimony or ownership rights to each other’s property. However, she maintains that she was in no state to sign such documents because they were brought to her when she was nine months pregnant.

“Terius ‘The-Dream’ Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful,” The-Dream’s spokesman told Us Weekly on Monday. “The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet.”

The-Dream, a 29-year-old R&B singer and producer and his assistant, Melissa Santiago, were recently photographed in an intimate embrace while vacationing in in the Caribbean over the weekend.

Milian, 28 has not commented directly on the report but said on her Twitter page on Monday: “WHATEVER YOU THINK.. BELIEVE IT. I’ve officially lost my appetite. Ugh.”

Milian, a pop singer who sings the title song of the animated Disney Channel series Kim Possible, began dating The-Dream in early 2009 and soon became pregnant and married him in September in Las Vegas. Their daughter was born in February. The-Dream was married to singer Nivea from 2004 to 2007 and the two have three children.

The-Dream told Essence magazine last month he and Milian “are cool,” adding: “People keep asking, “Why haven’t we seen you guys out together?” I’m working, that’s why you haven’t seen us. She’s at work too in Los Angeles.”

It’s been a busy few years for Milian, who married The-Dream last September and gave birth to the couple’s first daughter, Violet Madison Nash, in February. She began work on Elope back in 2006 as the follow-up to her Best Of Christina Milian collection.

For the album, Milian enlisted the production help of her husband’s longtime collaborator, Tricky Stewart. According to the singer, the team’s success in producing female singers is mysterious but also undeniable.

Milian says the songs on Elope are “from the eyes of a woman and the mind of a woman. I don’t know how they understand that, but somehow they do. It’s mature but at the same time it’s so relatable to any girl.”

Christina Milian lost her baby weight by drinking water and eating raw vegetables.

The 28-year-old singer gave birth to her first child Violet Madison in February – who she has with her record producer husband The-Dream, real name Terius Youngdell Nash – but managed to quickly shed her extra pregnancy pounds with a strict healthy eating regime.

Discussing her tips, she said: “A lot of liquids, a lot of water, a lot of raw vegetables and salads. I stuck to that and it all came off.”

However, Christina also believes expressing milk with a breast pump helped – and she is rarely without her handy tool.

She told People.com: “I always pump everywhere. It’s a little embarrassing to say but it’s part of the whole thing.

“Violet is just always so happy the second she wakes up. She has a smile on her face. She’s the best baby ever.”

The-Dream – who has three other children with his ex-wife Nivea – is also a doting father and has reportedly bought the 11-week-old tot a car and a house.

Christina and The-Dream married when they eloped to Las Vegas on September 4, 2009.

The singer, 28, and husband of six months, producer The-Dream, 32, welcomed the girl, their first child, Feb. 26 — and they debut her adorable first photo in the new Us Weekly (on newsstands now).

“She’s got a lot of personality!” Milian, 28, tells Us Weekly of Violet. “She laughs a lot!”

The Grammy-nominated singer, who had a C-section after 19 hours of labor, tells Us Weekly she has lost 27 of the 45 pounds she gained. “I’ve been eating salads and fruit like crazy,” she says.

She says she plans to breast-feed for a year. “I’m surprised how hungry she is,” Milian tells Us Weekly of Violet. “Like, how do I keep up?”

In an interview with MTV News, the Atlanta native said, “I really would like it to be the last one if I could — in a perfect world.”

The-Dream, who first hinted about his intention to quit singing at the end of last year, knows that what he wants may not actually happen.

“In the back of my mind, I’m thinking a fighter fights,” he said. “You don’t retire on top. [Michael] Jordan didn’t retire on top. I’m not saying I’m the best [like him], but I’m the best at what I can do. And I can stop now and say, ‘This album is pretty good.’”

The-Dream, who is married to R&B/pop singer Christina Milian, recently welcomed his first daughter, Violet, on February 26.
