The-Dream has revealed that he would like his latest album, Love King, to be his last.

In an interview with MTV News, the Atlanta native said, “I really would like it to be the last one if I could — in a perfect world.”

The-Dream, who first hinted about his intention to quit singing at the end of last year, knows that what he wants may not actually happen.

“In the back of my mind, I’m thinking a fighter fights,” he said. “You don’t retire on top. [Michael] Jordan didn’t retire on top. I’m not saying I’m the best [like him], but I’m the best at what I can do. And I can stop now and say, ‘This album is pretty good.’”

The-Dream, who is married to R&B/pop singer Christina Milian, recently welcomed his first daughter, Violet, on February 26.

I feel your PAIN girl (had one myself)… omg. I also hear that the baby was weighed in at 6 lbs., 10 oz. Christina probably won’t be able to walk for 2 weeks or so and will be heavily medicated once the pain kicks back in. Sending prayers.

Ok so I got more news on the duo. Kelsey is 18 and I’m not sure how old KC is…. they are both from Australia as we know and KC has the black hair and Kelsey is the red head. I have more photos to post of these girls during the week …

However the news paper made a mistake and said they r on my label… which i dont have..yet… lol, but yeah basically helping to guide the girls career and get them signed. They are extremely talented, beautiful and charismatic and I know you will love them. We are in the process of changing their group name so that’s why I cant give you one yet. US pop star Christina Milian – who was reportedly dropped by record label Island Def Jam in 2006 to make room for Rihanna – has thrown her weight behind two unknown music talents from Australia.

Milian, 28, who shot to fame after the success of her 2001 self-titled debut album that featured the hit AM to PM, has signed singing duo Kasey Osborne, of Cronulla, and Kelsey Maree, of the Gold Coast, to her new label.

Milian said the Australian duo were the ”most exciting project” she had worked on. They are writing and recording an album slated for release later this year.

”The girls have everything it takes to be the biggest international pop duo out there,” Milian said. ”The world is definitely ready for these beautiful girls to hit the stage and kill it on screen.”
