Via Latina.com: Latina.com caught up with singer-actress Christina Milian, 28, on the red carpet at a screening for Sex and the City 2 this week in Los Angeles. The bubbly new mom/newlywed was open with us about baby weight, married life and why she thinks she’s a “Samantha.”

Latina: Which SATC character do you think you’re most like?

Milian: Well… I have a little bit of Samantha in me.

Why is that?

She’s got a little fun, dark side, and I think that in my old days of dating, it’s kind of reminiscent of her.

Christina Milian’s Water Baby Diet

Christina Milian stuck to a diet of water, raw vegetables and salads to lose the baby weight after giving birth to 11-week-old Violet Madison.

Christina Milian lost her baby weight by drinking water and eating raw vegetables.

The 28-year-old singer gave birth to her first child Violet Madison in February – who she has with her record producer husband The-Dream, real name Terius Youngdell Nash – but managed to quickly shed her extra pregnancy pounds with a strict healthy eating regime.

Discussing her tips, she said: “A lot of liquids, a lot of water, a lot of raw vegetables and salads. I stuck to that and it all came off.”

However, Christina also believes expressing milk with a breast pump helped – and she is rarely without her handy tool.

She told People.com: “I always pump everywhere. It’s a little embarrassing to say but it’s part of the whole thing.

“Violet is just always so happy the second she wakes up. She has a smile on her face. She’s the best baby ever.”

The-Dream – who has three other children with his ex-wife Nivea – is also a doting father and has reportedly bought the 11-week-old tot a car and a house.

Christina and The-Dream married when they eloped to Las Vegas on September 4, 2009.

Adam Bernard interviews Christina

Here’s an old interview I found!

Although she’s still acting and singing as much as she ever has, times have changed for Christina Milian. Acting-wise she’s outgrown the high school sweetheart roles for more serious fare and musically she’s gone from the major label confines of Def Jam to the independent outfit MySpace Records. This week, on the heels of the release of her latest film, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Beyond Race caught up with the lovely Latina to find out more about what she’s been up to, which rumors about her are true and which are false (including that ever-present one about Rihanna’s “S.O.S.”), and how she’s been handling stardom’s oftentimes bumpy road.
